Any report, from the library or built from scratch, can be saved. Saved reports appear under My reports at the top of the sidebar.
Saving
- When you change a report, an Unsaved changes label appears next to its name.
- On a library report, click Save report, give it a name and an optional description, and click Save.
- On a report you have already saved, click Save to keep your changes.
- Leaving a saved report that has unsaved changes asks you to confirm first.
What a saved report remembers
Everything: the data source, breakdowns, numbers and their order, filters and row rules, sorting and row limit, chart type, options (including the idle days), the accounts or groups, the date range and the comparison.
A relative date range moves with time. A report saved with Last 30 days always shows the latest 30 days, which makes saved reports ideal for checking every week. Use a Custom range to fix a report to particular dates.
The ··· menu
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Save as a new report | Saves a copy under a new name, leaving the original as it was. Works on any report you can open, including ones shared with you. |
| Rename / describe | Changes the name and description. |
| Pin to top | Keeps the report at the top of My reports, and opens it first when you come to Reporting. Click again to unpin. |
| Copy link | Copies a link straight to the report. Anyone you send it to sees it only if it is shared with them. |
| Undo unsaved changes | Puts the report back the way it was last saved. |
| Delete report | Deletes the report for you and everyone it is shared with, and stops its schedules. Only the owner can delete a report. |
