Reporting Guide Leads Behind a Number
Every underlined number in a report can be clicked to see exactly which leads make it up. It turns a report into a work list: click the idle leads for one salesperson, the leads from one source that were lost, or the leads that were never contacted, and work them straight away.

What you can click
- Any underlined number in the table, including the Total row.
- Any bar, slice or point in the chart.
- Counts and money values can be clicked; percentages and averages cannot, because they are not a list of leads.
- The Other row cannot be clicked.
Which leads are listed
The list matches the row you clicked and every filter on the report. For most numbers it lists every lead in that row. A few numbers are part of a row, and clicking them lists just that part:
- Idle leads lists only the idle leads, Never touched only the leads never touched, and Recently touched only the others.
- For activity and task reports, the list shows the leads the activity or tasks were on.
- For speed to lead, the leads that arrived in that row.
- Email campaign numbers are counted per campaign and cannot be clicked.
The lead list
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Lead | The lead’s name (or company or email if there is no name). Click it to open the lead in a new tab; a lead in another account opens in that account. Archived leads are marked. |
| Company, Email, Phone | From the lead. |
| Status, Source | The lead’s current status and source. |
| Assigned to | Everyone the lead is assigned to. |
| Value, Created | The lead’s value and the date it was created. |
| Account | When the report covers more than one account. |
- Leads are listed newest first, 50 to a page. Use Previous and Next to page through.
- Type in Search these leads to narrow the list by name, company, email, phone, status or assigned user.
- Click Excel, CSV or PDF to download the list.
Large numbers
One list shows up to 5,000 leads. If a number is bigger, the list says so. Add a filter, or click a smaller number (one month instead of the year, or one source instead of the total), to get to the rest.
The list always follows your access. You only ever see leads you can open on the Leads page, in accounts you can report on.
