Below the builder, every report shows the same three parts: summary cards, a chart and a table. This article explains what each shows and the notes you may see around them.
Summary cards above the chart give the total of each number for the whole report.
Summary cards
One card for each number in the report, showing its total for everything the report covers. With a comparison on, each card also shows the change and the earlier period’s value. A question mark on a card means there is a definition: hover over it to read it.
Totals are always counted for the whole report, not added up from the rows. That matters when a lead can be in more than one row (for example when broken down by assigned user): the card counts each lead once.
The chart
- The chart draws one number at a time. Use the menu at its top right to switch to another.
- With a comparison on, the earlier period is drawn as a lighter series next to the current one.
- Hover over a bar, slice or point to see its value. Click it to list the leads behind it.
The table
- One row per breakdown value (or pair of values), with every number you chose, and a Total row at the bottom.
- Click a column heading to sort by it; click again to reverse.
- The thin bar under a number shows how big it is compared with the biggest in that column.
- Underlined numbers can be clicked to see the leads behind them.
- With a comparison on, each cell shows the change as a percentage with an arrow, and what it was before.
- Under the table, a line shows the date range, the accounts covered, and how long the report took to build.
Notes and messages
| You see | What it means |
|---|---|
| This report uses tracking Open Leads has only just started recording… | The report uses new tracking, so dates before tracking started have little or no data. |
| Good to know | Something about how this report was counted, such as Speed to lead looking at the last 12 months when All time is chosen, or a part of the report only shown to admins. |
| One part of this report is missing | One part could not be counted, for example because it took longer than 30 seconds. The box says which part and what to do. The rest of the report is correct but incomplete. |
How fresh the numbers are
A report’s results are kept for up to five minutes, so moving between reports and changing the chart is quick. Click the refresh button next to Export to count everything again straight away. Scheduled emails are always counted fresh.
