Help -- Mass Updating Lead Status/Sales Pipeline


With just a few clicks of the mouse you can update the sales pipeline status of either your entire lead database or multiple numbers of your sales leads. Note that you must either be an administrator or have been assigned the mass update permission by an administrator to be able to perform this operation. For example lets say you have created a view named Warm Prospects. The first thing you would need to do is make sure you are looking at this created view. Several of these prospects have chosen to buy your product. To update their status you will first check their corresponding checkboxes located on the far right side of the lead detail screen. Once you have checked the appropriate leads choose the option "Update Status/Pipeline" from the drop down menu located above the column marked Type on the leads list. Once you are in the Status/Pipeline update screen place a checkmark in the box next to "Apply Status". From the resulting menu you can now update the status of these leads to "Closed Won". Follow the same process to update the other components of the Sales Pipeline feature.
